Col de l'Aiguille Verte

Long time dream come true!

I've been looking at this line for a loooong time, but it newer worked out for number of reasons...weather was always playing games, I was too fat or had to work. Now after skiing couple other North facing lines at Argentiere it felt again like time to give it a try. This time everything worked out and we managed to ski it in almost perfect conditions!
The bergschrund was looking really nasty and open so we had to look for alternative route on skiers right. That plan worked out well and we managed to find beautiful, steep skiable line. We made steady progress on good packed powder and arrived at the col around 2pm. Skiing was really good expect of one 50 meter traverse on ice where we had to put our crampons on. This line has everything you can ask for. 800 meters of constant 50-55° terrain, route finding and amazing views. Probably the most beautiful line in Argentiere!?

Here a little short film about our day at Col de l'Aiguille Verte.
