January was a month of mix feelings. Finally it brought us some perfect powder days with incredible amounts of snow, great riding, big smiles, good times with friends.. But just as we're at it...the mountain community was again hit by some terrible news. Many of us have again lost friends. Sad times.
Now as it starts to look more like a normal winter, the conditions still remain unpredictable. For me ski-mountaineering and steep skiing is all about being at the right place at the right moment. There are lots of exiting things to do, but for any bigger ambitions patience is needed. The lines will stay there, so lets be patient and wait for that right moment!
